I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior around the age of twelve. Setting on the back row with my friends, I almost ran down the aisle when the Baptist preacher gave the altar call. I am a sinner, saved by Grace, and I cannot count the many times that God has protected me from harm.

The headlines in our local newspaper stated the grim facts: “Death toll reaches 2 million.” The article then began with these disturbing words: “The global death toll from COVID-19 topped 2 million Friday, crossing the threshold amid a vaccine rollout so immense but so uneven that in some countries there is real hope of vanquishing the outbreak, while in other, less-developed parts of the world, it seems a far-off dream.

Almighty God Has a Specific Timetable For Everything That Is Going To Happen – He Tells Us A Lot!

God has a timetable for everything that happens. God does not give us all the details of His diary. God is never in a hurry and God is never late. God’s timing is not always convenient. At the right time, God can do something quickly – sometimes instantly. There comes that moment when we have to trust God’s timing in our life – in our lives – in some new dimension – in some new way. A delay is not a denial. We do not give our children everything they ask for as soon as they ask. Delays can cause negative emotions. We say – I want it now – I will use my card – and that can cause worry, or worse – tension and stress – and debt. What does God want me to do while I wait? God says – Fear not! Fret not! Forget not! Faint not! A lot of things will happen in 2021 and a lot of things will not happen in 2021.

Our sin and disobedience has ruined what HE CREATED. He wants to help us – by removing the pollution from our minds – flushing out any poisonous thought from our minds and hearts – as Jesus deals with the greatest of all heart diseases – SIN. What would we do without a real living faith in Christ?
